Artist, graphic artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1974). He is known primarily as a master of the landscape genre. Since 1955 he lived and worked in Sverdlovsk. He studied at the art studio of the Railway Workers' Palace of Culture under the guidance of the artist N. G. Chesnokov from 1960 to 1969. He worked in the studio of the artist G. S. Mosin. Since 1958, participant of city, regional and zonal exhibitions. His works are kept in private collections in Russia and abroad.
