Kalinin Viktor Grigorievich (born 1946, Altai Territory).

Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Arts. Artist of monumental and decorative art. In 1966 he graduated from the art school in Nizhny Novgorod, then in 1971 - the Higher Art and Industrial School (formerly Stroganov). He completed his diploma work under the guidance of G.M. Korzheva. Since 1974, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (currently the Union of Artists of Russia). The author of the decoration of the facade of the Cosmos Hotel, he created stained glass windows and reliefs for Moscow buildings. Since 1995 he has been teaching at the Moscow Art and Industry University. Stroganov. Since 1966, he has participated in exhibitions in Russia and abroad (USA, France, England, Norway, etc.), including fifteen personal ones. The artist’s works are on permanent display at the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, the Ludwig Museum in Cologne, the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum (New Jersey, USA), as well as in more than 20 museums in Russia and abroad and in many private collections.
