Kapkanets Tamara Nikitichna

She studied at the Kharkov State Art Institute (1939-1941), then at the Kiev State Art Institute (1941-1946) with M.G. Deregusa, K.N. Elevs. Since 1952 she took an active part in exhibitions. She taught at the Voroshilovograd Art School. (since 1948). Author of thematic paintings: “Meeting of the Lugansk Council of Workers’ Deputies in 1905” (1955) and “Brigade of Communist Labor” (1960) - together with M.M. Shevchenko; “In the New Quarter” (1961), “A Woman’s Lot” (1964), “Farewell” (1975), “Dream” (1972), “Song over the Fields” (1979), as well as a number of portraits – “Cook” (1954), “Milkmaid” (1955); landscapes - “Road to the Forest” (1953), “Father’s Garden” (1974), “Crimean Landscape” (1954). The master's works are in the Lugansk Regional Art Museum, as well as in private collections.
