In 1962 he entered the Moscow Higher Art School named after. Stroganov. Since 1966 – student of V.G. Weisberg. A regular participant in exhibitions since 1978. In 1991, he participated with a personal exhibition in the International Art Fair ArtMif-2 (Central Exhibition Hall "Manege", Moscow). The artist's personal exhibitions were held at Harvard University (Boston, USA), at the Brauner and Popov gallery (1990, Berlin), and at the Russian State Library for Art. (1997, Moscow), in the gallery of the Angelikos restaurant (1997, Moscow), at the US Embassy in Moscow (1999). The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum (New Jersey, USA), in the Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts, in private collections in Russia, Germany, Great Britain, France, Switzerland, USA and other countries.
