Kazakov Ivan Semenovich (1873, Oryol province - 1935, Tashkent).

Academician. In 1888-1894. studied at the Institute I.E. Repina. Then - at the Imperial Academy of Arts (1894-1899) with V.E. Makovsky. As a pensioner, AH visited Italy, France, and Germany. He worked in St. Petersburg until 1906. He left for Tashkent. Member of the AHHR 1926-1930 (in Tashkent). Exhibited at the Academy of Arts, MOLKH, Peredvizhniki (1902-1910). The works are in the State Russian Museum and in other regional museum collections.
