Painter. Graduated from the Moscow Art School at the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. In 1960 - Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after. I.E. Repin (workshop of the President of the USSR Academy of Arts B.V. Ioganson). He studied together with famous painters such as the classic of Armenian painting Minas Avetisyan. He was in friendship and correspondence with the famous artist of the Russian diaspora Oleg Tselkov. Since 1957, he has constantly participated in art exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Since 1964 Member of the Union of Artists. In 1988, personal exhibitions of the painter’s works were held. In the 60-70s around M.S. Kazansky formed a circle of young artists who considered him their teacher. In 1991 to 1992, at the invitation of the Robert Schuman Center, he worked with a group of artists in Luxembourg. In 1993 he participated in the VI Biennale in Switzerland. In 1997, his works were presented at the exhibitions “Russian Art of the Second Half of the 20th Century” and “2000 Years of Christianity” (Central House of Artists). The artist’s works are kept in the State Tretyakov Gallery, in museums and private collections in Russia, Western Europe, and the USA.
