Kikoin Mikhail Konstantinovich

Studied at the art school of Ya.M. Kruger in Minsk, at the Vilna Art School. In 1912 he left for Paris and settled in the “Beehive”. He studied at the National School of Fine Arts with F. Cormon. Since 1914 he participated in the Autumn and Independent Salons. He held personal exhibitions in the galleries Cheron (1920) Netter (1924). In 1933 he moved to a workshop in Montparnasse, where he worked until the end of his life. He held personal exhibitions in Montpellier, New York, Paris, London, etc. In 1962, a retrospective exhibition was held in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Participated in the exhibitions “Russian emigrant artists in Paris” (London, 1954), “Soutine and his circle” (New York, 1959), “Russian artists of the School of Paris” (Paris, 1961).
