Kirillov Alexey Ignatievich (1918−1997)

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Honored Artist of Russia. In 1947 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov (teachers I.E. Grabar, S.V. Gerasimov). Thesis – “L.N. Tolstoy and A.M. Gorky in Gaspri." Participant of exhibitions since 1949. The artist’s paintings are in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, art museums of Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk and other cities of Russia.
