Kirtsova Alena (Elena) Valentinovna (1954, Barentsburg village, Spitsbergen Island, Norway).

One of the few minimalist artists who have found themselves in demand in Russian contemporary art. Participant of numerous exhibitions in Russia and abroad, including a personality at the State Russian Museum (1994). Lives and works in Moscow. The works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the S. Guggenheim Museum in New York.
