Kiselev-Kamsky Alexander Alexandrovich (1868 - 1941)

Russian and Soviet landscape, genre and portrait painter. Since the 1900s - participant in art exhibitions. In 1906-1915 he was engaged in organizing art exhibitions in Ryazan, took part in exhibitions in St. Petersburg and Moscow. In 1906-1909 he took painting lessons from Professor I.P. Pozhalostin. In 1914 he passed the exam at the Imperial Academy of Arts for the title of drawing teacher. Until 1941 he taught drawing at school. After 1917 he was engaged in organizing exhibitions of Soviet artists, led a fine art circle. He was a correspondent for the newspapers "Rabochy Klich" and "Leninsky Put". Participated in the creation of the Ryazan Art Museum. In 1925, he was one of the founders of the AKhRR branch in Ryazan. In 1930, his personal exhibition was held in Ryazan, and in 1940, his last lifetime exhibition. The author's works are presented in the Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, the Perm Art Gallery, the Ryazan Art Museum, the Komi-Permyak Museum of Local History and other museum and private collections.
