Leningrad artist, graphic artist, book illustrator, master of watercolor and drawing, autolithography. Born in 1896 in Saratov. In 1913−1916 she studied at the school of painting and sculpture of M.D. Bernstein and L.V. Sherwood, in 1918 she attended a new art workshop, in 1919 she studied in the art workshop of A.I. Savinov. In the 1920s, she lived with her husband in Tiflis, where for some time she was a volunteer student at the Academy of Arts. At the end of the 20s they returned to Leningrad. Started doing print graphics. During the war, K. Klementyeva was evacuated, and in 1944 she returned to Leningrad and began again to engage in book illustration. She collaborated with children's publications and worked in the printing workshop of the Union of Artists. In the 1980s, K. Klementyeva was engaged in monotype and completed more than 250 works in this technique.
