Knobel Robert

Knobel Robert (1874-1924).

Born in 1874 in Reichenberg (Bohemia), died in 1924 in Munich. Landscape painter, portrait painter, painted figurative compositions and still lifes. Studied at the Munich Academy of Arts with L. Lofftz. From 1908 to 1924 exhibited at exhibitions at the Munich Glaspalace. Member of the Munich Association of Artists and the Luitpold-Gruppe. He participated in exhibitions: in the Vienna Kunstlerhaus (1909), in Prague with a group of German-Bohemian artists (1910), at a large art exhibition in Hanover (1912), in Düsseldorf and in Munich at portrait exhibitions (1913). The artist's works are in the Paris Gallery of Modern Art and in European private collections.
