Koltsov Sergey Vasilievich (1892, St. Petersburg - 1951, Moscow).

In 1907-1917 studied at the Stroganov Art and Industrial School under N.A. Andreeva, S.V. Noakovsky, D.A. Shcherbinsky. In 1916, for the equestrian statue “Archangel Michael” he received a gold medal and the title of artist of the 1st degree. Participant of exhibitions since 1915. In 1925-1928. member of the AHRR. In 1928-1930 worked in Paris, participated in exhibitions of the Society of Independent Artists, in the Autumn Salon, etc. He took an active part in the implementation of the monumental propaganda plan. Personal exhibitions were held in 1931, 1974. in Moscow, in 1930 in the Senate gallery in Paris. The artist’s works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
