Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Vasily Pavlovich Komardin was born in 1919. From 1937 to 1941 he studied at the Art Studio of the All-Russian Central Council of Trade Unions, where students were trained according to the program of the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V.I. Surikov and its teachers. Vasily Komardin’s creative mentors at this time were the artists Aron Iosifovich Rzheznikov and Timofey Ermilovich Pustovalov. In 1946 Komardin V.P. joined the Moscow Association of Artists, and in 1954 - the Union of Artists of the USSR. V.P.Komardin’s paintings are colorful and rich. Vasily Pavlovich is an attentive and deep painter, whose works affirm optimism, openness and love of life. The artist's works are in galleries and private collections in Russia, neighboring countries, the USA, France, Germany, Romania, and Japan.
