Constant Montald (1863, Ghent-1944, Ghent).

Painter, etcher, sculptor. Honorary member of the Academy of Arts in Brussels. He studied at the studio of E. Kannel and at the Art School in Ghent. He is one of the leading representatives of symbolism in Belgian art of the late 19th and first quarter of the 20th centuries. Presented in museums in Brussels, Ghent, Liege.
