Adolf Markovich of Constantinople

Konstantinopolsky Adolf Markovich (born 1924, Kharkov).

Honored Artist of Ukraine since 1974. Studied at the Kharkov Art School (1940-1941), and at the State Art Institute (1948-1954) with Yu.V. Balanovsky, G.A. Tomenko. Completed his diploma work “Mourning Days” (“Mourning of the People” under the direction of S.F. Besedin). Participant of exhibitions since 1954. Works by A.M. Constantinople were exhibited at foreign exhibitions in Canada (1962) and Italy (1975). The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Kharkov in 1974 and 1983, and in Kyiv in 1975. Participated in the creation of the panel “October Revolution” for the main pavilion of the VDNH of the Ukrainian SSR (1958) and the diorama “Formation of the Dnieper and the creation of a bridgehead in the area of ​​the village. Lutizh on the approaches to Kyiv." He taught at the Kharkov Art School. (1954-1956), at the Kharkov Art and Industrial School since 1960. The works are in the Ukrainian Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War, the Kharkov Art Museum, in the museums of Ternopil, Krivoy Rog.
