An avant-garde artist, educator, and representative of the "School of Paris." He studied at the Stroganov Art School under K. Korovin and M. Vrubel. From 1907, he actively participated in exhibitions and was a member of the Association of Traveling Art Exhibitions (Peredvizhniki), the *Mir Iskusstva* (World of Art) group, and the Moscow Association of Artists (MTKh). He lived in Tiflis, where he worked as a set designer for the Opera and Ballet Theater and the Russian Drama Theater, and created posters for ROSTA Windows; he also taught extensively in Moscow at institutions including SVOMAS/VKhUTEMAS, MTI, VGIK, and MVKhPU. Works by F.K. Konstantinov are held in the collections of the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Savitsky Museum in Nukus, and private collections in Russia and France.
