Kopaev Vladimir Ivanovich (1925).

Artist. Born on January 31, 1925 in the city of Slavgorod, Altai Territory. Painter, member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1997. In 1935, the family moved to Novosibirsk. While studying at a comprehensive school, he simultaneously attended the fine arts club at the House of Pioneers, where V.F. was the leader. Stein. In May 1943, during the Great Patriotic War, he was drafted into the Soviet Army, where he served for 7 years. Since 1943 at the Belotserkovsky Military Infantry School; further service in the 373rd reserve rifle regiment (junior sergeant) in the city of Balta, Odessa region; in 1945-46 - stage of the barrage commandant's office; from 1946 to 1950 - military unit 22137, guard sergeant, machine gun crew commander. Since 1943 - Komsomol organizer of the company. Awarded the medals “For the victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945”, “XXX years of the Soviet Army and Navy” (1948), “70 years of the Armed Forces of the USSR” (1989), “50 years of Victory in the Great Patriotic War” (1995), “Veteran of Labor” (1984). After demobilization he studied at the Kostroma Art School (1950-1955). He worked as a drawing and drawing teacher in Novosibirsk schools. Since 1955 he has been engaged in creative activities. The artist’s works are in the Novosibirsk State Art Museum.
