Копотин А.В.

Kopotin Anatoly Vasilievich (born 1949, village of Demidovo, Volgograd region).

Graduated from the Ivanovo Art School (1972). In 1970 he won the competition for the 100th anniversary of V.I. Lenin, having shown a series of portraits, was encouraged by a trip to Moscow. Since that time, he has been a regular participant in city, regional and all-Union exhibitions. Since 1972 he has been teaching at the school in Syktyvkar. Member of the Union of Artists (1977). In 1986 he worked as part of a creative group on the Kola Peninsula. In 1987 he traveled along the Barents Sea. Works by A.V. Kopotin's works are in many regional museums and in private collections in Russia and abroad.
