Kor Aba Maksimovich

Painter. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Graduated from LIZHSA named after. I.E. Repin in 1950 in the workshop of V.M. Oreshnikova. From 1950 to 1956 he taught at the Oryol Art School. In 1956-1957 took part in archaeological expeditions as an artist. He began exhibiting in 1950. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1970. He painted landscapes, portraits, and genre compositions. The Leningrad cityscape occupies a large place in creativity. In 1960-1970 illustrated the magazines “Friendship”, “Zvezdochka”, “Koster”. The artist's works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
