Artist. Based on his drawings, portraits of Lenin, Molotov, and Stalin were woven. In 1947, Korenkov created a silk-woven engraving of the Grand Kremlin Palace for the 800th anniversary of Moscow. For his work, V. G. Korenkov was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor. Based on his designs, the following were created: curtain fabric made of natural silk for the Bolshoi Theater, fabric with lurex for the curtain of the Kremlin Palace of Congresses, moiré for upholstering Brezhnev’s office, fabric for the Mossovet, Moscow State University, etc.
