From 1907-1910 studied in the studios of F. Rerberg, N. Ulyanov, I. Mashkov, V. Meshkov, in the workshop of M. Blok in Moscow. 1910-1913 studied at the Moscow School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture with S. Volnukhin. In 1913 he traveled to England, Italy, Austria, Germany and France, where he worked in the workshop of A. Archipenko. Member of the Institute of Artistic Culture (1920), participant in the World of Art exhibitions. . The author's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, many regional museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
