Queen Rosalia Ivanovna

Soviet painter. Rosalia Ivanovna Koroleva was born in 1929. In 1952 she graduated from the School of Memory of 1905 and entered the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov (workshop of Professor P.D. Pokarzhevsky). While studying at the institute, she simultaneously worked at the Painting and Production Plant of the Moscow branch of the Union of Artists. In 1957, while a student at the Surikov Institute, she passed away. Rosa Koroleva worked in various artistic genres (genre paintings, portraits, illustrations, plein air works, costume design). The artist created wonderful and unique compositional works; she tirelessly improved her skills in sketches, drawings, and sketches.
