Korovyakov Ivan Pavlovich (1914 - 1995)

Soviet graphic artist, illustrator, poster artist. He worked in the poster editorial office of the Order of the Red Banner of Labor of the Military Publishing House of the USSR Ministry of Defense: he painted military-political posters and popular posters about the exploits of soldiers of the army and navy. He developed sketches of the Challenge Red Banner, honorary diplomas, certificates of honor and certificates for awarding the best teams. Korovyakov was the author of the single breastplate of the USSR “Drummer of Communist Labor”, which was awarded to 23 million people. The artist’s works are in museums and private collections in Russia and abroad.
