Koshkin Nikolai Ivanovich (1947).

In 1961-1966. studied at the art studio at the Palace of Pioneers in Volokolamsk, 1967-1969. - at the Rostov Higher Technical School. At the end of the 60s he moved to Moscow, began working at the Likhachev plant and - at the same time - painted a lot. He worked as an illustrator in various publishing houses and magazines in Moscow. He interestingly illustrated the stories of I. Varshavsky, K. Bulychev, M. Kouni, R. Sheckley, St. Lem, Strugatsky and other science fiction writers in the railway. "Knowledge is power." His works in the magazine “Family and School” are also marked by a special, fantastic vision. In 1974-2001 — work at the film studio “Soyuzmultfilm”. He also collaborated with the studios “Kievnauchfilm”, “Multtelefilm”, “Renaissance” and others. He worked mainly with director V.I. Tarasov and made many interesting, extraordinary sci-fi films: “Mirror of Time”, “Return”, “Contact”, “Anniversary”. Artistic director of stories in the film “Mayakovsky Laughs” (1974) and a number of documentaries. He works mainly on hand-drawn paintings or using the transfer technique. His works are distinguished by their emphatically stylized style of collage drawing, inventiveness and invention. Author of illustrations for children's books and science fiction collections.
