Kostyanitsyn Vasily Nikolaevich (1881, Kalyazin, Tver province - 1940, Moscow).

The son and grandson of icon painters. Lived in Moscow. Until 1917 he painted icons. After 1917 he made posters and popular prints. In 1922 he graduated from the 1st state courses in fine arts. Since 1923, member of the AHRR. His works are stored in Moscow - in the State Central Museum of Contemporary History of Russia, in the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of Russia, in the Russian State Library (RSL), in Lugansk - in the Art Museum.
