Soviet artist. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1970). Studied at the Moscow Secondary Art School (1939-1945). Graduated from Moscow State Art Institute named after. V. I. Surikov (1951) after the workshop of V. P. Efanov. Author of plot-thematic paintings. Member of the Moscow Union of Artists since 1952. Participant of art exhibitions since 1951. Participant of all All-Union exhibitions (1952-1981). He collaborated with the magazines “Smena”, “Physical Culture and Sports”, “Ogonyok” and with the publishing houses “Molodaya Gvardiya” and “Detgiz”. He illustrated fiction, in particular: “The Road of the Brave,” V. Spiridonov, M., 1950; “Beyond the Dniester”, L. Kabo, M., 1952; “Potemkinians”, I.
