Honored Artist of the RSFSR. Chairman of the Union of Artists of the Moscow Region. He studied at the Odessa Art School, then at the Moscow Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. Participant of Moscow, regional and foreign exhibitions. The artist's works are in many museum collections in Russia.
