Kropivnitsky Evgeny Leonidovich (1893, Moscow - 1979, Moscow).

Artist, poet, composer. He graduated from the Imperial Stroganov Art School in 1911. In 1912 – 1920 lived in Moscow, studied at Shanyavsky University at the Faculty of History. In the 1920s he was close to the circle of artists of the “Jack of Diamonds”. Leader of the Lianozov group. In the 1950s, the Kropivnitsky house in the village of Vinogradovo near Moscow became one of the centers of the emerging Moscow unofficial art. Later this center moved to the barracks apartment of E.L.’s son-in-law. Kropivnitsky, artist O. Rabin, in Lianozovo.
