In 1946 – 1951 studied at the theater and art school, teachers A.E. Tyulkin and P.M. Lebedev. During the war years he worked as a graphic designer in propaganda poster workshops. Since 1954, he constantly participated in all republican and regional art exhibitions. Member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1961. The artist's works are in regional museums.
