Honored Artist of Russia (1980). Graphic artist, painter, one of the leading masters of Soviet satirical drawing. Son of the famous artist Porfiry Nikitich Krylov (Kukryniksy). Studied at Moscow State Art Institute named after. V.N. Surikov (until 1955) from Efanov V.P. 1952–1986 - employee of the political satire magazine “Crocodile” (member of the editorial board, Chief Artist). Deputy Chairman of the Commission on Satire of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Chairman of the Bureau of Print Artists of the Union of Journalists of the USSR. Participant of more than 80 group and personal exhibitions, both in Russia and abroad (in Cuba, Hungary, Bulgaria, East Germany, Cyprus). The artist’s works are in museums and private collections in Russia, the USA, Germany, Holland, Cuba, and Bulgaria.
