Kulagin Alexander Sergeevich (1926, Mordovian Autonomous SSR).

Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1969). Studied at the Irkutsk Art School (1945-1946) with B.I. Lebedinsky, the Moscow Institute of Applied and Decorative Arts (1946-1952) with P.P. Sokolov-Skal, A.A. Deineka, P.M. Shukhmin. He taught at the M.B. Grekov Russian Art University (1953-1962), Rostov Civil Engineering Institute. Repeated participant since 1948 in republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. His personal exhibitions were held repeatedly in Rostov-on-Don and Taganrog.
