Honored Artist of Russia. Graduated from the Moscow Art School "In Memory of 1905". As art historians noted, “...in 1972, an established and bright personality unexpectedly appeared in the Moscow artistic community. An artist with his own theme and unique style. A member of the Union of Artists of the USSR, Anatoly Kulinich, quickly becomes a leader among young artists, largely shaping his time. His one-day exhibition on Kuznetsky Most in 1976 was a great success. And then an exhibition and publication in the magazine “Yunost”, which was then published with a circulation of five million. He became interested in the artist, and published his material about him “Ogonyok” and a number of other publications. The artist then literally “woke up famous” throughout the entire Union...” In 1992, he organized the Phoenix Association of Artists, and in 2001 opened the Kulinich House gallery. In 2003 he received the prestigious Grand Prix of the International Malta Biennale of Fine Arts. He successfully exhibits his works at the international exhibition “Art-Exspo” in New York. In 2006 he was awarded a silver medal of the Russian Academy of Arts. The power of the master’s creative charisma is mesmerizing. He is known, recognized, loved by his viewers and fans. Another thing is the art of Anatoly Kulinich itself, “unkempt”, different, bright, ambiguous, in which there is nothing calm and prosperous. The painting of Anatoly Vasilyevich, according to the general opinion of experts, belongs to that direction of Russian “naive art”, which is rooted in the elements of folk art and the traditions of ancient Russian art. Anatoly Kulinich has developed as a bright individual, he thinks, paints, creates graphic sheets, organizes exhibitions, heads creative partnerships, creates many large international projects, travels around the world with collections of his works and the works of other artists. During the period of creative activity from 1968 to 2010. Anatoly Kulinich is a participant in more than 470 and the author of 48 personal exhibitions in the country and abroad. Auction houses such as Christie’s, Druo, Sotheby’s, Luxembourg de Pery have long collaborated with the artist. Works in the field of easel and monumental painting, easel and book graphics.
