In 1913 he entered the School of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, where his mentors were K.A. Korovin, A.E. Arkhipov, N.A. Kasatkin, A.M. Vasnetsov. Since the 1920s participates in exhibitions of the Society of Artists of the Moscow School, TPHV, "Fire-Tsvet", Moscow Union of Soviet Artists and many others. Member of the AHRR. The paintings are in many museum and private collections in Russia and abroad.
