Honored Artist of Russia. In 1951 he graduated from the Ivanovo Art School, in 1957 from the Moscow State Art Institute. V.I. Surikov. Since 1977, member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Representative of the Vladimir school of painting. He worked in the field of landscape, still life, thematic painting. Regular exhibitor of regional, zonal, republican and international exhibitions. The artist’s works are in the Vladimir Museum of Fine Arts, in many regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
