Kuznetsov Alexey Petrovich (1916, Orenburg-1993, St. Petersburg).

In 1932-36. studied at the Penza Art School under N.F. Petrov. and I.S. Goryushkina – Sorokopudov. Recalled from the front to continue his studies at the Academy of Arts. which he graduated in 1946. In 1948-1951 he studied in the creative workshop of B.V. Ioganson. Since 1952, he became the director of the Secondary Art School at the Academy of Arts and remained in this post until the end of his life. In 1960-62 he was on a creative trip to Vietnam. Master of landscape and portrait painting, paintings on historical themes. The works of A.P. Kuznetsov are in many museums in Moscow and Leningrad.
