Kuznetsov Nikolay Efimovich

Famous Russian artist, avant-garde artist. Born in Moscow. in 1876. He did not receive any formal education, studying at specialized schools or universities, despite the fact that he had been interested in painting since childhood. He learned the basics and secrets of painting in private studios from such famous artists as V. Serov and K. Korovin. In 1906, Nikolai Kuznetsov took part in the exhibition of the Moscow Association of Artists for the first time. In 1915, he became chairman of the Free Art organization, and a year later he began exhibiting his paintings together with artists from the Jack of Diamonds community. In addition, he designed theatrical performances and even organized his own theater studio. Since 1933 he became a member of the Moscow Union of Artists. The paintings are in the State Tretyakov Gallery and many other regional museums in the country.
