Кюппенс Я.Х.

Küppens J. H. (1922, Rotterdam).

Born in Rotterdam, he began drawing at an early age. At first he painted portraits under the guidance of his father, a famous portrait painter. In 1948, he left his hometown to receive special art education and began painting landscapes. I. Kuppens remained faithful to this second line of his work until the end of his life. Works by Y.Kh. Kuppensa are represented in many museum collections in Western Europe.
