Hamilton David

David Hamilton was born on April 15, 1933 in London. He studied architecture and interior design, then typography. From 1953, he worked as a designer for Elle magazine in Paris, then as art director for Queen magazine in London, and again in Paris as art director for the Printemps department store chain. It was at this time that serious photography began. Subsequently, Hamilton worked with many fashion magazines, such as Vogue, Realites, Playboy, etc. Hamilton worked a lot on television and, in addition, made five feature films. His photographs have been exhibited at hundreds of exhibitions in Europe, America and Japan, and a large number of albums, monographs and articles are devoted to his work. Hamilton's works are in the largest museum and private collections in the world.
