Kharkovsky Abraham Menashevich (1911, Odessa - 1995).

Painter, member of the Union of Artists. He studied at the Odessa Art Institute (until 1934), then at the Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. I.E. Repin (until 1943). Everyday painting and portrait became the main genres in Kharkovsky’s work. The artist’s works are kept in many regional museums in Russia and Ukraine; the master’s work is especially widely represented in the exhibition of the Lugansk Regional Art Museum.
