Studied at the Kharkov State Art Institute (1947-1953). Author of still lifes, landscapes, genre compositions. Since 1951 - participant of republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions. In 1967, for the painting “In the Name of Life” he was awarded the Silver Medal of the USSR Academy of Arts. In 1968 he won the Silver Medal named after M.B. Grekova. In 1974, he participated in the creation of the diorama “Forcing the Dnieper” in collaboration with A. Konstantinopolsky, V. Mokrozhitsky, V. Parchevsky for the Museum of the Great Patriotic War in Kyiv. The artist's works are in many regional museums and private collections.
