Painter, landscape painter. Lived and worked in Vyatka. Exhibited with the Peredvizhniki (1880-82). He continued the traditions of Russian realistic landscape. The works are stored in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum im. A.S. Pushkin.
