Hristolyubov Nikolay Pavlovich

People's Artist of the USSR (1994). Honored Artist of the RSFSR, professor. Born in 1918 in the village of Evdokimovskaya (now Yarensky district, Kirov region). Graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1951) after the workshop of V. P. Efanov and A. M. Gritsai. Since 1952 he has been teaching there. Author of plot-thematic paintings. Member of the Moscow Union of Soviet Artists since 1952. Participant of art exhibitions since 1946. Personal exhibition: Moscow - 1962. Main works: “Explorers (Sailing of S. Dezhnev and F. Popov through the strait between Asia and America in 1648)” (1960), “Portrait of the Hero of the Soviet Union, polar explorer V.I. Maslennikov” (1964), “Izbach” (1967), “Under the Sun Cambodia" (1969).
