Graduated from the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute named after. N.K. Krupskaya. He worked at the University of Arts (1981), in the sculpture workshop of Andrei Maleev and Andrei Sadkov, at the Moscow Union of Artists under teachers N.G. Martynov and I. Midik. In 1982, he held the position of chief artist of the Garden of Culture and Leisure named after. Bauman (1982). Personal exhibitions of S.V. Khrustalev were held in 1983 in the National and Druzhba hotels, in 1984 in the Polytechnic Museum, in 1992 in the exhibition hall on Ostozhenka. He took part in the “Youth Exhibition” (VDNH, 1987), in the “Anniversary” exhibition in the exhibition hall on Malaya Gruzinskaya. The artist's works are in private collections in Russia, England, Italy, Germany, Spain, Turkey, Poland, the USA and other countries.
