Khryakov Alexander Fedorovich 1903-1976

Honored Architect of the RSFSR (1969). Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the first degree (1949) and the Lenin Prize (1959). Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Architecture. One of the authors of the projects of the Palace of Soviets, the new Moscow University on the Lenin Hills, the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, the auditorium and the Great Reading Room in the USSR Library named after V.I. Lenin, the Central Stadium named after V.I. Lenin in Luzhniki, the cinemas "Ukraine" and "Borodino" in Moscow.
