Lakhovsky Arnold Borisovich (1880-1937).

Participant of Spring exhibitions in the halls of the Academy of Arts, the Association of Independents (1910-1917), the Kyiv Association of Artists (1916-1918), the Society named after. A.I. Kuindzhi, member of the Union of Russian Artists in France (since 1933). Participated in the exhibitions of the Moscow Theater of Arts (1907), “Independent” (1907, 1909), “Free Creativity” (1911-1918), exhibitions of painters (1918), the Paris Salon of 1925, the Society of Independent Artists (1925-1940). He graduated from Odessa Art University, where he studied with K.K. Kostandi, G.A. Ladyzhensky, L.D. Iorini. In 1902-1904. studied at the Academy of Arts in Munich, 1904-1909. and 1911-1912 at VKhU in the workshops of I.E. Repin (since 1907), A.A. Kiseleva (1909), N.N. Dubovsky (1911-1912). Personal exhibitions in Paris in 1926 and 1934. Works are stored in the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Luxembourg Museum in Paris and in private collections.
