Lavrenko Borich Mikhailovich

People's Artist of Russia, member of the St. Petersburg Union of Artists, portrait painter, genre painter. In 1952, Boris Lavrenko graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin from the workshop of Professor Rudolf Frenz. Lavrenko has participated in exhibitions since 1936. The artist's personal exhibitions were held in Leningrad (1972, 1986), Moscow (1972), Rostov-on-Don (1972), St. Petersburg (1996). Boris Lavrenko has taught at the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. E. Repin since 1954. Works by B. M. Lavrenko are in the collections of the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, in numerous museums and private collections in Russia, France, Great Britain, China, USA, Japan, Germany, Italy and other countries.
