Graphic artist, Honored Artist of Russia, member of the Union of Artists of Russia. In 1951 he graduated from the Leningrad Art and Graphic Pedagogical School, and in 1957 - from the Graphic Faculty of the Institute of Zh. I.E. Repin Academy of Arts of the USSR. Since 1953, he actively collaborated for 40 years with the publishing house "Children's Literature". Over the years, he illustrated and designed about 50 books (A. Vlasov, A. Mlodik “The Mandate”, “The Wagtail Army”; L. Radishchev “The First Day”, “For Life”, “Two Days”; V. Lebedev “Hippocrates Called Him”, “Tales”, “Morning of Muscovy”, etc.). The artist’s illustrations were awarded diplomas at International, All-Union and All-Russian book art competitions. In 1982, for great services in the development of fine arts and active social activities, he was awarded a diploma from the Union of Artists of the USSR. The artist’s works are in the All-Union Museum of A. S. Pushkin, the State Central Historical Museum (Moscow), other museums, as well as in private collections in Russia and abroad.
