Leonov Alexander Petrovich (born 1932)

Painter, graphic artist. The son of the chief artist of the Dulevo porcelain factory and the Suprematist artist Pyotr Vasilyevich Leonov. In 1955 he graduated from the Secondary Art School and entered the painting department of the InzhSA named after. I. E. Repin. In 1957 he was expelled for formalism. He was one of the most active organizers of the nonconformist movement in the 1970s. In 1976 he emigrated to France. Lives in Paris.
