Letyanin Viktor Fedorovich

Honored Artist of Russia, veteran of the Great Patriotic War. Painter. Works in the field of genre painting. Represents the realistic school of painting. Graduated from the State Art University (1938-1949) and the Institute named after. I.E. Repin of the USSR Academy of Arts (1949-1955). Author of a number of paintings on the theme of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia since 1957. Since 1955, a permanent participant in regional exhibitions. Exhibitor of zonal ("Big Volga", 1967, 1974, 1985, 2003), republican (Moscow, 1957), All-Union (Moscow, 1959) art exhibitions. The artist’s personal exhibitions were held in Nizhny Novgorod in 1991 and 2002. The artist’s works are located in the Nizhny Novgorod Art Gallery and in many regional museums.
